Good comprehensive post about divorce proceedings-in Ireland solicitors are statutorily obliged to advise clients about alternative dispute resolution, counselling, mediation etc. and must swear a declaration that they have done so before issuing proceedings.

Solicitors can sometime sbe the authpors of their own misfortune in terms of perceptions and client service but sometimes it is a no win situation where a client becomes completely emotionally involved in a case, doesn’t listen and then wants to blame the lawyer if things go wrong.
